Biographical Details:

Priest, preacher and writer born in Parma in 1443 and died in 1511 in Montecchio. From his forties he wrote Latin dialogues, encomiastic and theological works. But his masterpiece is a novel, the 'Peregrino' published in Parma in 1508. The work differs sharply from the rest of his literary production, which is usually humanistic and written in Latin.
