Further Information:

From Lucca; he studied Arts in Bologna. Known as astrologer (in 1506 it was published a 'Prognostico', written by him, for the following year; see: Edit16 CNCE 74328). In 1497 it was published a Quaestio presented by Stephanus de Flandria and opposed by him, as student in the University of Bologna. In the letter to the dedicatee (Nicolaus Tygrimus, a famous jurist who also was from Lucca) Leonardus claimed to be a pupil of Stephanus.
